That long tradition continues on Saturday\, September 27\, when DC’s Queen of the Blues\, Carly Harvey returns to Peirce Mill for our second Picnic in the Park.  \nCarly explores her Native American roots to create a unique blend of traditional Jazz scat and indigenous vocables. Carly and her band will perform a mix of 2oth-century standards and contemporary songs. \nBring a picnic supper to Peirce Mill\, enjoy a free concert\, and savor the waning days of summer in Rock Creek Park! \n  \n  \nFree public programs at Peirce Mill are supported by\nthe DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities.
