Water Power Day

For almost 200 years, Peirce Mill has been using the power of water to grind corn into cornmeal. At this family-friendly event, we’ll experiment with water toys, learn about Archimedean screws, and construct a paper-plate waterwheel. And the Interstate Commission on the Potomac River Basin will bring creek critters–also known as macroinvertebrates–to identify.
