Mill Volunteer Interest Meeting

Rock Creek Park and the Friends of Peirce Mill seek friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to help interpret this 19th-century mechanical marvel.

We’re looking for people who’d like to learn more about Peirce Mill’s history and machinery, then give tours of the mill for park visitors. Volunteers may also assist with mill operations, clean up, and routine maintenance.

Volunteer shifts are Saturdays and Sundays during the milling season (April through October). Shifts are from 10:00am to 1:00pm and 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
