Winter Wassail

The Winter Wassail is an ancient English tradition, held at the coldest time of year to wake up trees slumbering in the orchard and ensure a bountiful harvest in the coming year.

As a special thank you to our supporters, the Friends of Peirce Mill are hosting a Winter Wassail at Peirce Mill, featuring cider and mead from Silver Wheel Cellars in Silver Spring.
