Friends of Peirce Mill Staff

The Friends partner with Rock Creek Park to maintain, preserve, operate, and interpret Washington’s last working grist mill. We plan free public programs in Rock Creek Park throughout the year, and work with volunteers to offer guided tours of the mill on weekends. We’re also working on long-term plans to celebrate the mill’s 200th birthday in 2029!

Friends of Peirce Mill Board

Our active board does everything from managing finances to managing volunteers. Board members also help maintain the orchard and the mill’s wooden machinery. If you’re interested in learning more about opportunities to join our board, contact Adam Sieminski, president@friendsofpeircemill.org.  We’re looking for folks with diverse skill sets–no milling experience required!
